1. Oliver¹ Purvis (#755) was born in England. Oliver died in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

Oliver became the father of James Purvis in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, 1720. Two Purvis brothers came to Ireland, about 1641, with Olver Cromwell. Oliver married an Irish girl with red hair, and is listed in the Hearthmoney Rolls of Killybearn, Derryloran Parish, County Londonderry in 1663. The other brother sold his land and returned to England.

Oliver Purvis had the following child:
