1. Robert Emmet¹ Sheldon (#973) was born 1845. Robert died 1917 at 72 years of age.

He married Mary Elizabeth Butler. (Mary Elizabeth Butler is #972.) Mary was born 1850. Mary was the daughter of Courtland Philip Livingston Butler and Elizabeth Slade Pierce. Mary died 1897 at 47 years of age. At 22 years of age Mary became the mother of Flora Sheldon 1872.

At 27 years of age Robert became the father of Flora Sheldon 1872.

Robert Emmet Sheldon and Mary Elizabeth Butler had the following child:

2 i. Flora² Sheldon (#974) was born 1872. Flora died 1920 at 48 years of age. She married Samuel Prescott Bush. (Samuel Prescott Bush is #975.) Samuel was born 1863. Samuel died 1948 at 85 years of age. At 32 years of age Samuel became the father of Senator Prescott Sheldon Bush 1895. (See Samuel Prescott Bush for the continuation of this line.)

At 23 years of age Flora became the mother of Senator Prescott Sheldon Bush 1895.
